Sometime ago I bought a Rathbones white loaf which had a half inch quare of something black in the middle, I returned it to Morrisons, the girl on Customer
Service swiftly put under the counter and offered me a refund...... since then, no Rathbones for me!

If you can be flexible about the times of day you shop, then the easiest way to get bread (or anything else) cheap is to get to know when the bakery sections reduce at your local shops.

i make my own bread it is pretty easy to do but it is time consuming as you have to prove the dough then baking time aswell,
but the taste alone is worth it. the cost of the ingredients works out to around 10 -12 p a loaf0 -
I have a bread machine but can't find the cup,not sure what to quantity to put in it's a Tefal magiclean 1000g. Anyone know please.0
