Is this a good place for me to put some money? I've had a look for threads on this specific product, but cannot find any.

Pays a decent 6.91% for 9 months. Has to be opened by cheque-based transaction. Cannot be opened with NIL then funded by bank transfer or from a transfer from e-saver.0

Just to be a bit pedantic, (It's the only pleasure I get in life nowadays), "Has to be opened by cheque-based transaction". Last week my 7% Regsave with them matured and they were quite happy to transfer the balance into one of these bonds. Yes I know that the Regsave has a marginally higher rate but by the time that the monthly waiting days are taken into account and my enthusiasm for Regsaves is starting to wane, I thought that I'd have a rest for a while.
Being an optimist (my glass is always half full), I reckon that come 9 months time, 7% may be bettered.0 -

Principality BS are extremely hot on anti money laundering procedures, many savings providers ( albeit not all) stipulate that opening deposit must be made with a personal cheque, personal cheque being an excellent ID test/check.
Its not suprising that Principality will allow existing investors to open the account without depositing a personal cheque.;)
