LLOYDSTSB tried to pass a loan instead of the charges

Suprise this morning, after sending a hardship letter to Lloyds, they contacted me stating that they do believe i am struggling:j

However after a short conversation, the lady asked me that they were prepared to provide me a loan at lower rate to consolidate my credit card and my overdraft:eek: I only need to forward a budget plan

do you find it strange that they try to put me back with a different debt:mad:

What should i do, should i still insist for them to fund back the charges and how will you formulate it but "no thanks for your loan"

Ask them to provide details in writing that you are suffering financial hardship. If this is the case, they should deal with your claim. You can also pursue via the FOS if you wish.

Offering a loan, may be their idea of 'dealing' with the claim, but this would not be a refund of charges and it would obviously not be interest free.
  • I contacted Lloyds in order to obtain a letter stating our conversation. Hence that they agree that i am in harship financial difficulty. After 45 minutes on the phone with an incompetent employee, i did forced them that if I do not received the letter stating the content of my conversation (Data protection Act) than I will require the transcript of the conversation (much better).

the person put me on hold AGAIN for 10 minutes in order to discuss the issue with his line manager. After various debates they agree to send me a letter but nothing until to date.

However i received the same template as anyone of you stating that their charges are fair blablalbalba

while they are still determined to increase the charges again £91.50 today i am more determined to persecute them hence second letter to warn them that i will direct myself to FSO with the transcript of the conversation and the abuse of Lloysd trying to pass a loan:A

Do you find it unethical that they try to sale me a loan to cover my credit card (insurance on it) and an overdraft?
