It's completely unnecessary, but probably the last resort for some people for a losing argument.
The forum equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and saying na na na.
Just ignore it. Your posts are well educated, helpful and appreciated.

Yeah i've noticed members getting a little tired of your epic merlin, must admit i doubt you will buy a house anytime soon, might even put a wager on it, bit safer than futures at the moment..

Merlin's posts are very informative, and useful, showing what is happening in the market for cash buyers with regard to seller sentiment.
there are very few posters on here who never post anything of value, and NDG and Merlin are definitely not among these, nor you Mr B.
I've even thanked a few pickles posts today, and is the world is ending, the best thread of today was started by I've Seen the Light. It's a health benefit ...0 -

How very kind! Thank you....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Hostile!? Are you going to play the victim now that everyone is attacking and picking on you again...
No, I just don't understand why you asked for information, I took the time to share it with you, and you threw your toys out of the pram in response....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Hostile!? Are you going to play the victim now that everyone is attacking and picking on you again... Maybe it's your strategy to win an argument in real life but this is a bit more one dimensional which is probably much suited to your character and personality...
Have a nice day duchess... ;-)

rather than lower this thread to the tone that you would like to bring it to - i will say that I am 100% much, much younger than you but that would be stating the obvious though...
don't forget to stick to your theory of stocking up on canned food and water at home - this recession will be the end of the world...
You had already lowered the tone of the thread with your comment to NDG, hence my statement about your maturity.
You made a statement on here and had that corrected by NDG with facts. It happens to us all, so don't take it personally.
No one is talking about the end of the world. The housing bubble bursting is not the end of the world.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
