Emma has a full page article in the Sunday Telegraph Money Section. It includes two references to the MSE website. Expect one or two visitors to the site today.

It's a shame that neither of the 'references' could get the web address right... (It was shown both times as being moneysavingsexpert.com) So those interested by the Telegraph article will no doubt be told "Website not found" - maybe a search engine will correct the address for them if they search harder.Expect the worst & hope for the best...0

Oh. I just tried it for the hell of it and, in fact, moneysavingsexpert.com produces an entirely different website... It seems to be another searchengine for other financial items.Expect the worst & hope for the best...0

Yes, I saw the duff URL and wasn't very impressed.
I know that journos can't stop their editors screwing things up, but even so it's not good.0 -

It's not the editors who screw things up, it is the journo in the first place and then the sub who should check the website address (it is pretty easy - you just try it!). Obviously the sub wasn't doing his/her job properly - not very good for over £200 a day!I'm married now! Yippee!0 -
Well I know a journalist and she says that the subs change all sorts of things from right to wrong without consultation - so I was suggesting Emma might have done her part of the job properly.0

Well, if reporters could be trusted to get things right in the first place, we wouldn't have to change stuff! I am just saying that the website address is almost impossible to get wrong because all you have to do is copy what the reporter has written and paste it into your browser, to check it is correct. The sub obviously has not done this, so should be sacked! Some mistakes are always going to happen but it is like spelling something wrong - that should never happen because you have a dictionary. Getting website addresses wrong should never happen because you have the internet to check it with!
But this has nothing to do with money saving, it just annoys me when subs don't do their jobs properly when it is so easy to do it properly!I'm married now! Yippee!0 -
Or perhaps it has something to do with which financial website places ads in the paper. Cynical ? Moi ?
Or it could just be a geniune error.
