Tumble Driers...newbie

Hi

I have never owned a tumble drier but with this awful weather I think its time I took the plunge... are there any tips I should take into account when buying (apart from A rating etc)....Last time I saw a drier working there was a large pipe blowing out hot air that needed to be put out of the window - is this still the case ? I ask as the room I will put it in doesn't have an opening window.

TIA

J

  • You could buy a condenser drier then.

I purchased one last week from Comet. The reservoir bottle fills up and you just have to empty regularly. The room should be well ventilated though, so perhaps keeping the room door open while its running may help.

Mine is in a cupboard under the stairs.
