Help! my driving licence has been stolen
Hello
my OH dropped an envelope addressed to the DVLA which contained my paper and photocad driving licence which I was sending back to the DVLA for a change of address. As he traced his footsteps back he found the envelope torn open and driving licence taken out. I don't think it was someone with good intentions because it was a dvla envelope with stamps on it, they could have simply posted it. but ripping it open and leaving the envelop on the floor...well...I have reported it stolen to the police and have filled and posted a form D1 to the DVLA but I am worried. aLL MY DETAILS ARE ON THERE!!!, d.o.b, Signature, address-old and new, what do i do?

Report it lost at a Police Station and get a crime reference number. This will cover you if someone tries to use your licence fraudulently or to facilitate a crime and will stop Police turning up on your doorstep. Then report it lost to the DVLA and apply for another licence. The man without a signature.0
