    Thanks Droopsnout,

Thought it might be our Sky Box as it is old and needs a new one :rotfl: .
Bit fed up of watching the repeats of Place in the Sun and Living in the Sun, but I actually found one last night I hadn't seen before, good grief :rotfl:

Our place is in a little town called Turre near Mojacar so none of those plastic greenhouse things there.
They tend to be over near Roquetas which is about 1 hours drive away.
It is still typically spanish in some parts, but I'm afraid the english are taking over now and Mojacar is full of ex pats whilst Turre has a lot, the main part of the village is still quite spanish.

Going over for a week in June, can't wait.

You can make the pages longer - and therefore fewer in number, reducing the time spent waiting for page reloads - by going into User CP. Click on the link near the top of this page, just above the line of page numbers.

For me this is the second post on page 15, as I have the forum here set to 40 posts per page.

One day I'll have enough petrol money to go see all these places in Spain! I live about three hours from the French/Spanish border, and we keep saying we'll go for a holiday to Spain one day, but we can never afford it.

We Brits are like an infestation of ants, aren't we? We get everywhere.

Vaison La Romaine, me and hubbie stayed there years ago to watch the Tour de France.
We stayed the hotel Le Belfoir or something like that. It was a very old hotel and am sure it was haunted.
We had the room down in what I called the dungeons, and one night after I had switched the lights out, I heard a rat, tat, tat of the wardrobe handle, and turned on the light quickly, but there was no-one there ,only hubbie sound asleep.
I was so frightened, that I daren't turn the light off and tried to sleep with it on.
The next night we stayed there again, but never heard the noise .
I wouldn't go back to that hotel again, but would go back to Vaison, it was such a lovely place.

Can anybody help me on the wealth tax issue please. I know it has another name but I can't remember what it's called.
We have onbly paid it twice since we had our apartment and now will owe last years tax.

It only cost us about 27 euros each, but the solicitor cost is 150 euros to sort it for us.

We live in the UK and just have a place in Spain for holidaying in.
I've heard they are scrapping this tax, has anybody else heard this, and are we still liable for last years?

Also is there a way we could do it without a solicitor, and avoid paying the 150 euros fee?

We don't speak Spanish, and only know a few words.
If we lived there, we would try and learn more, but if I do get the gist of things whilst on holiday, I soon forget them when I get home and back to work with english folk.:o

    xx
