Edinvester- Thanks for the KPMG link. I tried it with France and Luxembourg and they both worked. You can never have enough information or opinions about Tax.

I have been away for a few days and such a lot has happened on this board. I sometimes come back to this board after a few days and find hardly any new posts and then on other occasions, like this time, lots of activity. It is obviously about topics and how interested people are in them.
Obviously where people have chosen to live and whether it suites them after a time is close to people hearts as well as Languages.
I chose to live in Luxembourg because it was an affair of the heart but it is a place that has the best (for me and my wife) of both worlds.
A calm, clean, quiet, relatively safe country but very cosmopolitan with so many nationality's living side by side. Within a stones throw of our house there are Spanish, French, Bosnian, Italian, Luxembourgers, English, Belgium, Pakistani, Iranian, American and Germans living.

    Hi

Most probably as I am restricted with internet use until the end of the month when I return to the UK, but I am reading, and Droopsnout is being worrying about other matters or cutting his wood to stock up for next winter. Carrotts you have gone quiet too, was it the shock of seeing Mr & Mrs Droosnout?

Watchout for the first week of April I will probably drive you mad! :rotfl:

Oh, I'm here! Nothing much to report, really. Yes, I've been working on the woodpile.

Have stopped worrying. Have decided that they'll just have to come and put me in prison.

No, not really. We are still pondering over our options - better done after the initial panic wears off.

  • We have had our son and his girlfriend out for a week and they hogged our internet connection so that's why I've not been on so much, apart from having nothing to report.
