On the back of your turf roof comment I have just spent a happy hour drooling over the hobbit house in wales and looking at the round houses. The funny thing is that I've been trying to explain to DH for years what my house should be like and it's one of these (only a bit tidier!).

Just a wee warning about lawns etc on shed roof - make sure your shed roof is strong enough to hold all that extra weight.

just back from hols, long weekend at centreparcs followed by house sitting for a friend who lives on the coast.

Nice to spend time looking after other peoples garden gives you ideas for your own, and some free plants:shhh: (did ask really)

My own garden was kindly looked after by a friend so not lost any plants this time.

Re: my turf roof, its been standing for years, hubby did add strengthening to it and by the autumn he should have finished his custom designed and much larger shed with an even bigger turf roof:D

Looking forward to the next few weeks as my garden often looks its best in July.

Had first crop of strawberries with cream earlier:D :D:D

Did I miss summer in the southeast by the way?, it rained most of the time where I was!!

off to catch up with postings.......
