Odeon Guest Tickets refused

We got guest tickets given to us by my mams next dor neighbour which the odeon gave to him as he lent them tables and chairs for a thing they were having

He only got them last week and they ran out on the 31st may

I checked all the terms and conditions on the back and couldnt find any saying you cant use them at a certain time, they did say you can book tickets with them

So I arranged to go with my mam and cousin to see indiana jones

got to the front desk and was told that we are only allowed to use them on iron man and what happens in vegas as you cant use them on new releases and you cant use them on new releases

My mam asked if she could speak to the manager to see why we couldnt use them as it didnt say that on the back of the tickets

Was told they werent around but the guy on the till next to the girl serving us said that if we came in next week with the out of date tickets we might be allowed to see indiana jones with them

She was going to pay for tickets for indiana jones but I said to see what happens in vegas and we will go and see Indiana Jones at the empire next week

What happens in Vegas turned out to be a lot funnier than I was expecting

Well I got a reply from the Odeon who sent my complaint to the odeon silverlink
They stated it says on the back of the tickets that if the distrubtors ask for the film to be free list suspended then they dont accept free tickets/guest passes in the first three weeks

So the guy working there who said that the manager might accept them next week when the tickets were out of date was making it up at the film is not three weeks old then

It also said ask to speak to the duty manager at the time which we did do but they refused to get him

Not if the film distributors say no then they cant be used for the first three weeks which is about the length that films stay at cinemas for

sounds like a blessing in disguise to me

Indiana Jones 4 is the worst film I will see this year. fact!
