What have I done?Eon capped
After reading the email,i spoke to a switching site hurriedly who told me,Eon would be cheaper (the figure of 4% was mentioned). The capped period only lasts until O ctober 2008.Edit-sorry,I meant 2009.Is this worth doing and long enough?
I know i have 7 days to change my mind.
(i also would get tesco clubcard points btw)
I know Martins email mentions 2 years or more.
I would not be tied in(?) and would have to give 28 days notice if i wanted to withdraw at any point.

Hi
The capped period is upto the 1st oct 2009 not 2008. Energyhelpline, uswitch and eons website also confirm this.
Hope that helps0 -

Potentially big mistake. You need to look across several of the comparison sites and make sure the figures tally ... and that the hike to a capped tariff isn't massive. Doing it in haste could be costlier than not doing it?
I've been looking at capping to 2011. But the comparison sites are suspicious. Some of them won't accept the EON tariff I'm currently on and 2 others are giving me circa a £200 increase (just over 20%) to move to NPower 2011. However Uswitch makes it an increase of £488 (a 53% increase)!
Faced with that I've had to work out my consumption and do the figures myself ... which comes to one penny different to Uswitch! So - do I want to increase my bill by 53% at this point? I think not ..... albeit only the time to 1.1.2011 will tell.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Confused!Why can't it be simpler.0
