Have you tried putting a wet cloth on top of it, holding a hot iron on top of the cloth for a short while then see if you can peel the wonder web off.0

I'm with YogaGirl, you have to 'peel' or scrape it off while still hot and wet so mind you don't burn yourself!Signature removed for peace of mind0

What about cutting another length of wondaweb slightly longer than needed so that you can iron it over the original and then use the extra length as a tail to peel off both while they're still warm?Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. I think this is old style because I'm trying to save a pair of trousers!
I shortened them using a cheap version of wonder web. I did it on the right side turn up style. Now they have shrunk and I'm left with a horrid sticky mess!
I've tried soaking in a vinegar solution (well, it seems to work for lots of things!) Washed them 3 times and tried picking it off.
Any suggestions as to what I can use?
BTW, they are a linen viscose mix.0 -
I've merged your question to an older thread. Hopefully you'll get some ideas.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Thanks Gingam!
I've tried steaming it while the trousers were wet with a cloth over it. Didn't work just got some threads from the T-towel stuck to it now.
I think the problem is that it's not proper wonder web but a cheap version. It seems to have gone more like fabric glue!
May have to cut them and use my new sewing machine to make them cropped! Pity though!0
