Travel insurance for more than a year ahead

We always like to book early for the deals like 'Kids go free', but find it difficult to find travel insurance for more than a year ahead, particularly with pre-exisitng conditions (PEC). I've tried Martin's tips, but not all cover for more than a year ahead, or load the PECs considerably. Any ideas of companies willing to insure ahead that far for PECs please at reasonable rates ?

Sorry, I can't give you a specific answer, but a thought might be to try for an annual travel policy (one that meets the pec position) at a reasonable cost, and arrange for a renewal date that means it is in force to match the likely dates* - this may not be perfect but it is the best I can think of as maybe working for you.

* If you normally travel say in June, having the renewal in say, September (the year before) would work once the cover got going year on year - as I say, that is the best (but maybe not perfect) idea I can conceive of for you.
