But surely the 18185 calls are going via the landline, while VoIP calls use Voipdiscount and broadband? Or do you have a phone that can access both, in which case slect on there.0

The Linksys ATA (forget the model) allows you to connect a phone and then use it either over VoIP or the PSTN.
The linksys range are some of the best ATAs around. They have very good dial-plans.
With the right dial-plan you simply dial the number as usual and it works out from your plan which provider to send the call out over, it could be the PSTN (landline) and using various low-cost providers or go out via VoIP using one of many VoIP provider. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Well I have the linksys connected through the internet, so it isn't connected directly to the phone line as such not in a way that you could actually dial, unless the internet modem is on.
I really want is to have two VOIP providers
1. for international
2. for UK landlines
Then 18185 for mobiles - is this a usual dial plan?Help me to help you :santa2:0 -
