  • Not sure if this was a typo. misprice....the price has gone up by £93.29 inc VAT...so perhaps it wasn't a case of someone mistakenly typing a 1 when they meant 2.

Plus....£166.69 seems to have gone from my current account. Detailed transaction hasn't shown yet, but the balance has dropped by that amount from this morning.

£93.29 is the difference between the new price without delivery and the old price with delivery.

Its £100 inc VAT is the price difference.

    Gutted...
Had one in my basket at £160 since this morning while I decided if I could really afford it.
When I eventually decided that I couldn't, but to hell with it because I'd never find such a good monitor for that price again, they'd put the bl**dy price up by £100....
    Grrrr....
Thanks to the OP anyway - my own fault for being too slow. :o
Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.
  • I had one in my basket as well but was unsure because of the bad rep this company has so didn't complete order but did register for an account. After the price went up (confirming a misprice I guess) I went back in to the website and it was still there at original price in my basket!!
Anyway decided to go 4 it about 4pm and got email confirmation but checking the tracking option at 11pm on the account states "waiting for stock" so may be worth checking if you have ordered one of these!! Not holding my breath.

    Quite.
Still, don't really have the money for it anyway, so will try to look on the positive side of things. :p

Someone rang up and they said it was a pricing error and they will not be honouring it at that price.
  • Would be nice of them to contact people and tell them then.....my payment's been authorised and they have a 'hold' on the money although it's not been debited yet.
It was a good deal, but i honestly didn't think it was a pricing error, the rate that TFT's are dropping in price these days.
They had the original price crossed out with the cheaper price underneath, along with all their other price reductions, so it looked like an offer.
I had no reason to think it was a mistake, just thought it was a deal to get people onto the website, maybe they'd overstocked, or it was a discontinued model (seeing as i couldn't find it on Samsung's website...) ?
Also, paying £166.69 is not the same as trying to get a TV for 49p....£166.69p could be considered a reasonable price to pay and it's not obviously a mistake?

    Where do we stand here?
