Amazon Customer Service - amazing!

In September last year I bought a sandisk mp3/video player for my DD. A few days ago it developed a fault where faint lines appeared when viewing videos or photographs.
Yesterday afternoon I spoke to Amazon customer service using the phone back service - you click the "call me now" button and they ring back straight away (eg I had barely let go of the mouse after clicking the button).
I explained the problem to the cusomer service guy who asked if I required a replacement or refund. Opted for the replacement which he said he would order straight away, and I had 30 days to return the defective player.
Today, at 9.30 am - a scant 19 HOURS since I spoke to them, the replacement arrived....am stunned but VERY impressed!

I have to agree with you. I've never used the telephone option, but have emailed them and they always reply very quickly (always within 24 hours and usually quicker). Returning items is simple and straightforward and replacement items are sent out, often, by return post. Most recent wins: IPad, Jamie Magazine yearbook, Links of London friendship bracelet, Baumatic ice cream machine! :j0
