Yes it is possible, i read it on another web-site that they have the technology to do this.I don't understand the technology but it is something like this, you still need a little bit of Petrol, but it mainly runs on water which is turned into hydrogen then mixed with petrol and BINGO :j .
If you only need tiny amounts of petrol to run your car, then Mr Brown is going to be very unhappy, but i suppose he'd only tax water the same as he does Petrol. :mad:It will be very interesting to see how this turns out, or if the petrol giants manage to somehow stop it. Just think if we no longer require hardly any petrol there are going to be some very unhappy oil men.
Am i allowed to say the name of the web-site?

Oh well, get a Delorean, put a time flux converter on it, power it with a bit of plutonium, set the time flux converter to 2015, get to 88 miles an hour, get a MrFusion installed on it, get some general household waste, set your time flux converter to 2005 (be careful not to set it for 1955, nor 1985, nor 1885), and come back: TATA THE BEST SOLUTION FOR FUEL PRICES GOING UP!

It was mentioned on Radio 2 last night. I remember something about a device like a washing machine (their description not mine), mixing with petrol and then running it through a normal engine. They said that it is something being developed by Russian scientists and hope to have a working car in 10 years.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Don't know if it's an urban myth but is there not some similar technology that means a car can run on fresh air but the oil companies own the patent and won't release it?!?! Not sure how true that is....2p off is still 2p off!0

I read it on https://www.thisismoney.co.uk then scroll down the page. Not ashamed to say ABBA are Great :j0

Aren't patents freely available to the public? This would mean that if the oil companies did have the patents they still couldn't hide them.
I saw a TV programme about this years ago, some chap claimed that he could split water into oxygen and hydrogen.
