Well after initially thinking I'd be making a posting on the vent board, the way that Mamas and Paps have dealt with our problem has meant that I'm posting on this board instead.
We had a problem with a piece of furniture that we ordered from them (I won't give too much detail about what it was, as it would be unfair for people to take advantage of them after they've dealt with it so well). We visited the store in Leeds to tell them about it and ask what they could do and they said they'd sort it out and let us know.
The next day, we had a phone call from them, saying that there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue. This was not satisfactory to me so I wrote to head office. I received a phone call in response to my letter and it was explained that whilst there was nothing that could be done about the issue we had (which they accepted was completely their fault), they were willing to make a gesture of goodwill and give us a gift for the baby.
I chose the Lottie Ladybird playgym (£65) to purchase in the shop and it arrived, for free today. I think they were extremely generous and whilst the initial problem was their fault, they did admit this and obviously wanted to go out of their way to keep their customer happy.
Well done Mamas and Papas, we will definitely continue to shop with you!
