Clarion stereo/Vitara problem

Hi - due to my 'new' car having lasted a day before it became apparent that the head gasket had gone  I'm currently driving OH's Vitara. Had it services and MOT-ed last week (everything ok). However, the day after the service the radio started 'cutting out' with 'system check' flashing. Its intermittent and pressing on the on/off button clears the error for a while.

I'm currently working away so can't get to the mechanic who services it - but could take it to a Suzuki dealership but can't really afford them looking at it. I'm almost sure it'll be a simple thing like a loose connection but have no idea what to look for - has anyone any ideas?
