If the drop continues at this rate, we've worked out it'll have dropped -11.5% YoY in Oct 2008 (taking the peak house price in Oct 2007).

    If it accelerates...... who knows??

The drop won't continue at this rate and this (IMHO of course) is why. The 2.5% drop has already happened, worrying more folk who just thought this was a blip. This is the month the panic really starts to grow, I've already seen it from those in the building/developing business and now its for the general public.
So maybe this month, maybe next month, a bigger monthly drop. I'm predicting no further than that :D

Tell you one thing that did happen today though. One young lad I was talking to says..... "I'm thinking of buying a house soon", he didn't even know about the figures, guessing he might if he went further into buying.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
