N-Power non agreed rates

Hi there,
I recently moved into a new house. Before we bought it, the house had been rented out, and as a result had quite a few debts attached to it from previous tennants. One of which was approx £1.5k owed to N-Power.
Having had the misfortune of having to deal with them for my work, i was adamant i wouldn't let them deal with my gas & elec at home. However as there was an outstanding balance, they made it difficult for me to change.
To cut a long story short, I've now recieved a total bill which i think is very high. I'm fairly sure i'm right in saying that N-power are obligated to invoice me at a reasonable rate as it was them that prevented me from changing whilst the debt issue was resolved. The rate they have charged me is
14.15p for first 182 units of the quarter
13.6p after for electricity
6.154p for first 1143 units of the quarter
1.99 after for gas
I have no idea if that is in fact reasonable, and if not what could i do about it??

Have a look on their website for their standard rates and compare it to your bill.
They've probably charged you at the standard rate as that is the simplest option.

Many thanks. Believe it or not, it never crossed my mind they would just have a price list-but they do!
Seems the unit price is one of the better ones listed there (do they just not list the price of offers & deals??) but the 6 month bill does seem high at over £600. Especially as we had the heating turned off completely when we were doing work on it for about the first 3 months.
I'm also suspicious now that they've lumped a load of units from the previous tennant (who they prob know will never pay their bill) onto mine, cos i'm the mug who got in touch and will prob pay it. Ho hum0
