why,when i try to viewsome pictures online do i get a white box with a little red cross in?

could be a few reasons, this occurs when the link is dead (no picture is available) or you may have software running which is set not to load images (pages will load faster) or you have the browser set to not load certain file extentions (most pics are jpeg, but there are others)Welcome, rogerramjet.

Sorry, just jesting, the former poster is pretty much on the money. I'd said in most cases it is because the website you are visiting has moved/removed the pictures without updating the pages.CarQuake / Ergo Digital0
