The Virgin 0% for 9 months is supposed to be best (unless you know better) but they say "not available for MBNA cards". I don't think Sainsbury's is MBNA, it's Bank of Scotland... ?
Could anyone advise me? I've left it a bit late already

Sainsbury's is run by Halifax/Bank of Scotland (HBOS)A greedy man's bag is never full0 -
Unfortunately, you have left it too late and now Virgin charges a 2% balance transfer fee so it is no longer the best.veronarona wrote:The Virgin 0% for 9 months is supposed to be best (unless you know better) but they say "not available for MBNA cards". I would recommend the IF card with no fee but that is also a HBoS card (like Sainsburys) so you will not be able to transfer to that. Two Ways to Live
Which way will you choose? "... as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."0 -
Sorry to hijack the thread, but are RBS and HBOS different then?
I'm about to transfer a balance from Sainsbury's to an RBS card, will this cause problems since Sainsbury's is HBOS?
Thanks!

Yes, RBS is the Royal Bank of Scotland and HBoS is the Halifax Bank of Scotland so they are rivals.Jazzking wrote:Sorry to hijack the thread, but are RBS and HBOS different then?
