Anyone know where I can find one of these in stock ??

PS Its the new 9" screen version I'm looking for, not the original 7" screen version.

Thanks

    Has it been released yet?

I read a review at the weekend. I like the idea of the bigger screen, but apparently the case is now slightly larger and the price has increased significantly. I'm not convinced it;s as good a buy as the original (which I still love - it's so portable). :)

It was released in the UK on May 1st @ £329 all the usual on-line retailers show it as sold out or awaiting stock.

It's not in stock anywhere, we've been looking for days, but my lad who works at Intel says wait a bit longer for the Atom processor version - he reckons that the battery life will be significantly longer, so patience is a virtue!

Yes the new Atom processor is meant to be much quicker and use less power. Many reviews mention this. Is there a release date for it yet?

Only place I've found any stock is on ebay (mainly US sellers). However they are demanding a premuim - Most look like £380-£400 .

I understood within the next couple of months, but when the actual product will hit the shelves is anybodies guess. I've just bought the older version, which we love, but the PC900 looks like the dogs goolies. The problem is that we were waiting for months for stock to become available for the older ones so I suspect there will be an even longer wait for the PC900's
  • I'm certain that Micro Anvika in London sell it (at the moment, only the one coloured white), as it is currently listed as "ordered upon request" on their website, rather than "pre-order" for the black one.

Note that the EEE PC 900s sold in the UK have an inferior battery to the ones from the US (but a longer warranty) so it is probably best to wait until the model with the Atom processor comes out.

Best wait a month or so for the 901 to be released...
Although the 900 will get slightly cheaper when this happens..
