Stoozing Newbie

Hi All

Stoozing newbie here. Got an MBNA card with a limit of £6500, transferred £6000 direct into my current a/c with a 2.9% fee of £174.

Set up DD, which I've not yet had confirmation of, so made the minimum payment by BACS ... but because of the bank holiday on Monday it's a day late. and I've been charged a late fee of £12.

Will they now back date the interest and will I lose my 0% for 15 months deal ???

Yes you will lose your 0% period, but if you make a polite phone call to explain the circumstances and to request that they re-instate it, then they probably will do so. In fact, it might be better to play a little dumb and say that you wanted to check that your payment got there on time and let them tell you about the 0% withdrawal. That way it will come as a surprise to you etc ;)
