Override providers for Talktalk customers?

Which is the best override number for talktalk customers?

Used to use ones on the callchecker tool on this site like phonecheap etc but on my bill i noticed for using some of the numbers on callchecker I was getting charged 12-15p a minute anyway?

Anyone know the best way to cut the cost of cutting mobile phone calls on talktalk?

For just 45p a month you can get Talk Talk Mobile Extra which cuts 25% off the cost of your Mobile Phone Calls.

You can also get discounts if you set up a calling circle.

At weekends you can use http://www.1899.com/mobilerates.php and get the calls down to 3p a minute plus the connection.

Are you sure you're not overlooking Talk Talk's connection charge?

With that, even a very short (less than a minute) call to a UK mobile is going to cost 12p via one of the 6p/minute 0871 gateway numbers.

    My strong advice:

DO NOT touch Talktalk at all.
    They are con people.
They want you to think there cheap but infact they are not
    DELETE ACCOUNT.

So they charge a 12p-15p connection fee but is it then 6p or 7p a minute say I used phone cheap or whoever is cheapest provider that day?

Talk Talk charge a 6p connection fee for all chargeable calls and, if you use one of the 6p per minute 0871 gateway providers to call a UK mobile, you'll be charged 6p per minute on top of that.

    Hence, a 59 second call would cost 6p connection + 6p for the first minute (12p) a 1 minute 1 second call would cost 6p connection + 2 x 6p (18p) and so on.
