:mad:According to sales they have cancelled this account:mad::mad:. I am on the PriceFall option which runs until end Oct. Sales states that they don't know what will be on offer in Oct. It looks like I am screwed and it will cost me a lot more than I was expecting:confused:.

I tried over the weekend, going through Martin's recommended Energyhelpline and decided initially to take separate gas and electric. However the guy on the phone recommended going for the long fix. He told me on Saturday that they had been told to no longer offer the Scottish Power 3 year fix as it was being pulled. He suggested to me to go directly to Scottish Power. Their website would no longer allow me to make a price comparison, however first thing on Tuesday morning I rang and said what I wanted and I have now signed up for it. The woman also believed that it was on the point of disappearing but it might be worth having a second phone call.

it all depends though, I'm on pricefall too, to switch to the fixed 2011 tarrif my costs would have gone up 40%, even if I go on their normal tarrifs when it ends I'm still 30% up on the fixed tarrif, I need prices to change a lot in the next two years to end up losing out over that time period. their next deal will be just around the corner now they hacve realised how many people will go on them, their marketing team will be sat their drawing it up now

I have just called Scottish Power to ask about this deal. Its still on according to the lady I just spoke to.
I got some figures and they look good to me. I reckon i'll be changing suppliers once I have spoken to hubby.
