    Neeps, and that picture are SWEDES.
    Turnips are whitish and tinged with purple sometimes.

    Not many people know that Richard Curtis meant to use parsnips because of their more obviously comical phallic shape, but he too got muddled by his vegetables.....

    OO I'm off to demand papa tell me exactly what he's growing for me in my garden because he keeps mentioning kohlrabi, swedes and turnips... (I still don't have the heart to tell him that I really wanted broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, parsnips and onions:o)

    Another trivial bit of news, is that i have sold another item on Amazon. Bloomin amazed, i am..probably let it go for too little..but hey all in the coffers. Will divvy up the totals tomorrow, when i know how much packaging is going to cost. I can hear the rustle of excitement in all the off shore banking establishments as we speak...not:cool:


    how on earth am i gonna get to nag you if you keep doing things:D ...i mean i havnt got my butt into gear for any of this stuff and there you are racing away ...

    In our veg patch we're considering planting rice, as we have standing water :rotfl:
    The root vegetables of any persuasion will just rot.
