Hi Miggy How are you hun? Any news on SIL?
I was talking to a very interesting chap at one of the NT properties and he volunteers to play the organ at the church on St. Michaels mount..three times a month! They go up in the landrover though and a glass elevator in the castle! But it is still a bit scary he reckons..v.nice chap he was and was helpful when DD2 had a hypo, he let us stay in the cafe after closing time and made us copious drinks and made DD2 a sandwich to keep her blood sugars up..you meet some lovely people in Cornwall. This was at Godolphin house, so if you ever get chance to visit or volunteer there the folk are brilliant.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Yep went to Godolphin a couple of years ago- quite near to where you were staying I think ? We try and visit at least one NT place each visit. This year we went to Trerice, near Newquay, & Trellisick.
SIL has had another op to remove the rest of the tumour, it went deeper than they originally thought. She starts intensive course of chemo tomorrow  . Thanks for asking :kisses3: XXNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -

We have been to all the NT properties in Cornwall and are also members of EH as well. We revisit them as always something different to see as well. We went back to Trengwainton gardens and Glendurgan as well..lovely..Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi Bob, glad to hear you had a great time! We went a few years ago and were members of NT at the time and went to some lovely places - I thought Lanhydrock was beautiful.
How's the garden growing?! I suspect with the rain we've had, your produce is doing well!
