Surprised at that - I just went to the dealer with the part numbers from FFOC and it wasnt that much.

is the ghia wiper stalk a straight fit or do you need to fit any other parts like a different timer or relay?
that wiper looks good never thought of doing that,i will give it a go. thanks.

It is just a straight swap mate. However you need to check if you have 10 wires to the plug then its a straight swap. If its just 9 then its a bit more difficult.

    Best price is on ebay.

I think I am finished with mods for the moment. The next two that are on my list are 30mm eibach lowering springs and new alloys. However I am thinking of just getting my Zetec 16" alloys refurbed as I think they suit the car.

Then again the price of the second hand focuses has dropped quite a bit I am not sure its worth spending any more on the car.

    Decisions decesions.

A bit late for your question, but it might help someone else.

Fit the lights. Give it a damn good soaking with a hose. Any leaks? If so, remove and add sealant. Better still, get someone else to spray and sit in the boot so you can get them to stop as soon as anything leaks through.

ive seen one lowered on the original 16 zetec wheels and it looked good, understated, because when you see it you think theres something different about that focus but its hard to put your finger on it.
im not going to bother messing with the suspension or alloys on mine, ive got the 16" edge wheels which i quite like.

I upgraded mine from 15" to 16" when I first got the car. I think though if I was to get the car lowered it would probably make the ride harsher and getting 17" alloys would make it worse. I think in the end I will probably just refurb the alloys. My insurance is already over a grand

Sorry yeah I forgot. Where the light clipped into the body work there was already sealant there...just reapplied some more just to make sure. Its been p*ssing it down recently and there have been no leaks!

The light was also a perfect fit so I recommend the DEPOS to all silver/black MK1/MK1.5 owners!

i prefer subtle mod or genuine upgrades, wouldnt say no to a cheap set of st170 wheels though!
    my insurance is about £400.
mine came with sports suspension so its a bit harder than the normal suspension and it is noticable,i think it would be hard to make the focus handle any better than it does already.
