Purchased some business cards from this company some months ago.
Barclay Card statement kept showing debit £9.95 to Clubprem.com each
month. I have just found out that when I ordered cards from VistaPrint
I apparently did not tick a box or did not delete a tick in a box regarding
Club Prem membership. Had I been aware I would most certainly not have
opted for membership, I have not knowingly authorized any deductions from
credit cards for this monthly £9.95 membership. I have had to cancel my Barclaycard
since there are now other curious transactions coming to light and past telephone calls to Barclaycard seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
I would suggest that VistaPrint may be sailing very close to the wind regarding the law, in any case they seem to be acting in a most unprofessional misleading manner that smells of a scam.
Has anyone else out there had a similar experience.

This must be a recent development, a couple of months ago I ordered some cards, and nothing like this has happended to me. I have just checked a recent statement and there is nothing on there regarding this membership. I will keep a look out from now on to see what's going on. Thanks for the warning.

No it's not a recent development, the many other threads on this site show it has been going on for ages. You must have been in the group of people (like me) who do actually look at what you're ticking/agreeing to when you order from Vistaprint, as the Club Prem and Vista Rewards part is quite clearly visible when you make your order on the site, I can't understand how so many people don't see what they're doing on it.

Do not panic ! I have recently been given a full refund from Vista Print Rewards for just over £300 that was taken over a year. I had a long battle with the people at Edgware (0845....) they are NOT helpful at all and sent me round in a verbal loop.

My advice is to phone the American number which I have on my special forum purely set up to solve everyones problems with Vista Print Rewards. I have all of the genuine solution on there with numbers to phone etc and what to say and what NOT to say. You must MUST be careful with what you say to them otherwise you won't get a penny back.

Be careful DeeGeeBee, sometimes even closing the credit card is not enough. If these dodgy companies have set up Continuous Payment Authorities, then they will be able to charge your card even after it's closed.
