also im lookin at maybe puttin daughter, 17 yr old learner on the insurance as well as me and my daughter,, any tips on how to do it cheapest pls?
also were lookin to purchase a 2nd run around car for her and my other half to use for 2 and from work only, how do i insure it cheaply? other half has only been driving 2 yrs and has never had ins.
was thinkin maybe puttin both cars in my name, insuring both with me as main driver, obv only allowed to use no claims on 1 car, as ill also be driving the 2nd car as and when hes got our car ,,depending on when daughter needing it etc,, what about no claims discount in this situation?

You can't use your no claims on the second car. Also, putting yourself as a main driver on the second car just to reduce the premium is illegal and can invalidate your policy and get you a criminal record so i would be very careful with this if i were you.0

Not sure but I think Direct Line offer some type of Discount for 2nd car. However as mentioned above, they may rate on the youngest driver.
Note though D/L are up for sale.0
