Meet and Greet Parking - Gatwick Airport

The cheapest I found was tailored parking services which was 45 quid for 5 days meet and greet minus another 4 quid for booking with Park and Go via quidco. They also have a free shopping service to supply you with essentials on your return.

We used Tudor Rose last year - it was as cheap as non- meet & greet - and it was brilliant. You can telephone them once you've collected your bags, and by the time we'd done that and got to the pick up point, the car was there. And it was clean!

Totally same "carlection" experience (May 25th-Jun 1st 2008) as entry below (janep67) with regards to waiting time, children and further distance to travel from gatwick. This company's service is a shambles and should not be operating in business. Has put me off from using any meet & greet service again as I would have been better off using the gatwick long-stay car park operators and my kids would have been home, fed & watered, and in bed by the time our car had arrived to meet us.

dickwatson: We booked Carlection at Gatwick on 1st June. No reply on phone. Waited 40 minutes, couldn't contact them. Decided to go Long Stay then finally got through and given multitude of excuses. Too much stress at start of holiday given luggage and young baby. Found other customers waiting over an hour to get their car delivered. My advice is meet & greet great when it works but not CARLECTION - steer well clear - looking for refund and compensation - will post further comment depending on how this goes. DO NOT USE CARLECTION.

resa I have recently used Carlection for parking at Gatwick Airport and received a great service at a very good price. Car was returned cleaned inside and out and on time. Don't know many other companies that offer the cleaning included in the price!

I have recently used Carlection and have been happy with their service they even cleaned my car inside out which I did not expect from them.My car was returned on time and I am pleased,will use them again next time.Keep up the good work.

Thanks to whoever suggested Tudor Rose, i just got a £64 quote for meet & greet to cover my 10 days away at the end of the month. Bargain.

Oh and, it would appear that the secret of getting good service from Carlection is, er, not to have posted on this forum before :rotfl:

Moonrakerz, Ace meet and greet at Gatwick appeared on Rouge Traders. Cars were parked in what appeared to be a builders yard with vehicles and people passing by throughout the day.

Hi, Im not sure if anyone still vies this site but I was searching for valet parking reviews and came across this blog. Does anyone else have any good reviews for companies that supply meet and greet parking?
I need to use a parking company in Jan but am slightly hesitant because of the program that was on watch dog about valet parking companies. Can they be trusted?

If you're looking for meet and greet parking, check the company's website to make sure they have ParkMark approval. It's a safer parking award and the car park has to be inspected and meet high standards of safety and security to gain the award.

Car parks need to be inspected annually to maintain their certificate.
