That is appalling MPG! Until April I was using a Gilera Runner 125 Scooter for my commute, and was getting about 80mpg. I got my full license, so now I'm riding a Ducati Monster 600 and I get 60mpg exactly on the (I put 13.5litres in to fill up and zero the odometer every time)
The commute is 14.2 miles each way; first couple of miles through town, the rest 70-80mph on A-road0 -
Different people ride in different way, I'd probably be able to strech my tank range, but I use the top of gears to overtake cars.
And move briskly along the motorway0
