I work for a rural charity and have been trying to complete the MSE Charity application form with no success. I have emailed the help line a few times and despite getting an email telling me that someone will be in touch shortly I have had no response. The form crashes all the time. I'm very frustrated! Can anyone help me please, we only have until Friday to send the form to them!

Welcome dolly. I can't be a lot of help, but have you actually 'reported' your post? If you click on that 'Report' button below it, you have the option to report a technical problem. You'll need to say which page it is you're looking at, what browser and operating system you're using, stuff like that. I'd have done it for you but knowing that I'm using Firefox on a Linux machine isn't going to help the team much ...

    From this week's email:
Deadline for charities/groups to apply for MSE Charity Grants now 6 Oct
The MSE Charity gives grants to individuals or charities for financial and consumer help/education. The deadline for the latest group applications (charities or constituted groups) has been extended to 6 Oct due to a glitch with the application form. How to apply: See The MSE Charity Related: The MSE Charity Fund, How this Site is Financed

I know that MSE is concentrated on the individual (I've personally learnt a lot/benefited!) and there are dedicated companies/websites for finding out about grants for charities etc.

However, I also the great work that MSE does and that the money for charities etc will no doubt run out.

As a Liberal Democrat County Councillor in Hertfordshire (St Albans) I have a limited amount of money available to me for "Locality Budget" grants. If anyone is reading this and knows of an organisation/group would could benefit please please do get in contact or pass on the link.

We need to do more so people understand finances!
(Sadly I can't help individuals in the same way as MSE can, but get a group together and we'll see what we can do!)
Trying to save money to err... spend it...
