Help with credit card charges courtcase please please :-)

Hi Folks
First post-be gentle.
After being faffed about and insulted by Goldfish I decided to use moneyclaim to get back some late payment charges i had on a Goldfish Mastercard.

However I have just had a letter from the county court;
"Without hearing
IT IS ORDERED THAT:-
1) Following filing of a defense or holding defense the claim shall be stayed pending judgment in the Office of Fair Trading test case.
2) Liberty to apply with an explanation.

Note: Any party affected by this Order may under Rule 3.3(5) apply to have it set aside, varied or stayed. Such a party must apply under 23.3 within 14 days of service of this order."

Does this mean that I can appeal and state that credit card charges are not the focus of the OFT testcase?

Hi there!

as far as i know if you look at martins article on claiming credit card charges there is some information and a letter to send if your claim is being stayed as the credit card charges are not included in the test case. Take a look at this part of the article. Im sorry i cant help anymore!
