Got a reduced rump steak from sainsburys ..Made some marinade ..based on a terriyaki sauce ,with lots of black pepper .....
The house smells great ..I've left the oven door open a bit ...should be ready for Ten tonight ..I shall eat it to celebrate the Rugby win :)

Gonna try this. I have just lately started liking it.

There are some goode recipe's here and instructions here: http://microwebtech.com/ I especially like the idea of hanging it on cocktail sticks.

And here is some food safety information from the food safety people in America: http://www.fsis.usda.gov/Fact_Sheets/jerky_and_food_safety/index.asp

Wow! Might have a go at making some. My partner loves it. If you are a fan of beef jerky & you are ever up in Bamburgh on the Northumbria coast, there is a fab deli on the high street and they sell lots of different flavours of beef jerky. Go & treat yourself, then go for a long walk on what must be one of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches in the country.
