Hi folks,

This is a long shot but has anyone got a manual for a Soltek SL-KT400A-C motherboard in pdf format from the installation disc or a paper copy that you could scan the pages giving information on the dip switch settings and FSB settings for the bios.

This manufacturer has gone out of business and all websites are now dead, 2 days searching the net has revealed nothing but dead links.

I am building a PC out of parts for a pensioner using an Athlon XP2400+ and can only get it running at 100mhs when it should be 133mhs with a multiplier of 15 .

Many thanks in anticipation,
shammy

Sorry m8 had a look and got a couple of old soltek disks but no manuals that new lol
Soltek used to put manuals of all current range on the disks, so if u find a disk from that period it will prob have your manual on it.
I know a company i work for still has quite a few of these out in the field so will keep an eye out for a disk and have emailed our tech support to see if they have one.
Just don't hold your breath they very busy at mo.

Many thanks friend , your efforts are appreciated !

There is a computer fair at the Richard Dunn centre at Odsal, Bradford this weekend so will have a look there . I may have to look for another second hand board that will take an XP 2400+ and DDR 3200 but as this is a no money job for an old chap I need to keep the cost down as its all coming out of my pocket.

lmao i actually have one of these boards in the boot of my car(no manual tho), there aren't many jumpers but dip switches for cpu/fsb speeds and the settings for these are printed on the board between pci slots 2,3,4, i guess it is actually the fp switches you need then, i'll get them next time i'm at a site that has one

All sorted now thanks to mdbarber !

My fault for being as blind as a bat.

The board must be standard for KT400 and KT600 chipsets as it has settings for both though they are unreadable without a magnifying glass,at least they are for me.

If you come across a pdf copy of the manual in the future it would be appreciated but at the moment we are up and running at full bore !

    many thanks
