tenant compensation

Hi all.
My landlord is planning to put in an entire new bathroom.
Am I entitled to compensation during this process which will take a few days meaning I can not shower etcetera?

Many thanks, G.

Ring shelter. Or the council's private housing team.

I'd not want to be left without a loo - the shower you can nip to a friends for. Maybe they'll leave you a horrible portapotty thing?

If you don't want the new bathroom, did you tell him that you do not wish to have builders in your home?

Have you discussed where you can do your number 1's and 2's?

Can you clarify - do you mean a new room or just replacing the current bath, bog, basin, shower?

    Unbelieveable!
You are going to get a brand new bathroom and you want compensation.
If you asked me that question I would give you a section 21.

You can not be serious either?
The plumber will put together the new loo before removing the other one, then it takes 5 mins max to re connect up.

Unless everything is being moved around/remodelled, a competant plumbing team (usually 2 men) should be able to remove the old fittings and fit the new ones all in one day, although it is unlikely they'de be able to get the shower fitted and they certainly couldn't get the tiling done.

So you'll need to take a bath rather than a shower for a couple of days.

My presence on here depends on how much work I have on and what sort of work it is.

I'm usually on here while wait for large slow queries to run. They need to be run outside hours so I'm often at work until midnight.

Edit: Forgot to add: The end of the world is nigh etc etc.
