BANK CHARGES RECLAIMING
hi there, right where do i begin! i not sure this is even going through to the correct forum but here goes.. right i've read sum of the comments/questions people have put forward but i must be really thick as i still not sure what i can claim back. Well i've received my bank statements for the last six years like Martin Lewis has said,i've gone through them and marked off what i think i may be able to claim for but am not sure, so can i claim back for the following; o/d (overdraft) protection charges, interest charged, paid referral(s). I think this is it but i expect i'll have to ask again about something if i not included it. Thankfully i've cleared my overdraft and have not gone overdrawn for over a year, most of my referral charges i received after having a serious car accident, where i was off work for only a couple of months as i couldn't afford to be off as long as i should of been, but with being single and having rent and all the rest of the bills that come with keeping a roof over your head, well my overdraft had to be upped and the charges just kept mounting up. Eventually i plucked up the courage to tell the bank i was struggling with the repayments and that i needed my account frozen, which they did but i had to pay £150 a month back till my account was back to level. yeah.. i know it sounds like a sob story but thought i'd just say how my situation arose. So after hearing what :money: had to say i thought it was time to try and get my money back. I would really appreciate any help with what i can claim for from what i've wrote above, oh another thing while i remember when i write down my claims would it affect my claim if for example i wrote down one of the above if the bank said i wasn't entitled to it? Thanks for any help as to be truthful like alot of people i expect i not very good with this sort of thing.
