Always check prices with On the beach and they are quite competitive.

Have booked today for the first time with them, am really annoyed that after having the final price for the flights and the hotel, and AFTER inputting all my details including payment, the next screen proceeded to add on £48 luggage charge.
The flights are through Thomsons, and according to their web site they only charge £5 per person, each way, total £20

Have telephoned Onthebeach to find out why they are overcharging, but they just blamed the airline company?

They also charge a fee for using debit card, although this isn't advised until you are half way through booking.

Have sent an email asking for their response, and depending on the outcome, probably will never use them again.

Has anyone else had this problem?

i havent booked with on the beach myself, but do know people that have had problems with them, read the reviews on holiday watchdog that might help you out a bit

We have just been hit with the same hidden charges when booking with onthebeach

After we checked the total costing of flight and ALL charges direct with the airline, onthebeach.com appeared to come up with the same total cost

Only after submitting the payment, do you learn that they dont include your baggage and want an additional £24 per person for this, which you assumed they had calculated to reach the same costing as airline

Too late, www.otbeach.com have your money and you are left with no option than to pay this ludicrous £24 per person 'hidden' EXTRA charge

NEVER again will i book with https://www.ontbeach .com

I had a terrible experience with them last year and found their customer services the worst I have ever experienced. To cut a long story short, having booked and paid for a holiday to Greece, we got to out hotel to find that they had no booking for us and that the hotel was full

I have booked a holiday with OTbeach.com. I have to say that I was annoyed at the baggage cost when booking however they were still about £200 cheaper than anywhere else for the holiday (including trying to barter with agents). Also when booking there was a problem selecting the baggage on the page. Left it as no baggage (was going to call after to add it on) and they called up to double check our selections and processed it for us. The woman who called was very helpful and informative.

In conclusion - they are cheap but have some hidden costs. My experience of their customer service has been very good.
