Originally, I was planning to get married at Leeds Town Hall. It's where we've booked (provisionally anyway) but I think it's going to be less hassle doing it all in one place so I'm open to suggestions? You can e-mail the venue to me if you'd like liz@eliza-fox.co.uk or PM xxx
Liz and Mark got engaged on June 26, 2007. They are currently in the process of planning an August 2009 wedding in Yorkshire.

We found our venue in Grimsby by having a walk round the area. The venue we've got is an auditorium, they have concerts and stuff there, we're hiring their 'little' hall (room for 200 people lol). So why not check your local theatre ticket box and see where the local concert hall tye places are? Ours is really cheap as it's run by a 'Friend's of the Church' group, not for profit. They have a cute little chapel underneath but not being Christian we didn't go for it.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

• Hi,

We are having the reception at a local restaurant and then the evening is at a local bar (we met there).

They don't charge for room hire as they make so much on the bar and I think the buffet is about £7-8 a head. The place is much nicer than the local function rooms. :money:

I'm having my wedding breakfast and evening reception at the same venue. It's cost about £300 for the room and DJ, then the evening buffet is £5 per head. We're having about 40-45 people including kids so I'm catering for 30 which will be £150. We're not having the wedding breakfast till about 5pm so none of us will be ravenous as it's 3 courses!
