Are 13 Warranty claims in 3yrs ok? how do I ask for ext. warranty as goodwill?
I have a Saab 9-5 Estate that to date has had 13 Warranty claims/visits, in 33k miles, to the dealership outside of normal servicing (no lucky number jokes please!). The 3yr warranty expires in November, and based on past performance I have zero confidence that the car will NOT need to return to the garage for unplanned works, and from December at my expense. My ask is this; What advice do you have on how to construct a successful request for a car manufacturer to provide as a goodwill gesture, an extended warranty.

If it has had that many visits back to Saab during the warrenty period I find it highly unlikely that they will extend it at their expense.
Ever thought of getting rid, if it's that unreliable?
