I recently signed up to i tunes for a lifetime membership to download music. What I didn't realise was the boxes for other options were ticked taking my fee from a reasonable £13.41 to £32.26 as the Movie Codec and Spy Protector were included. What I want to be able to do is cancel the extras I don't want and have not used but I can never seem to contact them as the live help is never online, whatever time I try and access it.There is also no email contact either. Can anyone help me with this as I now have the bill on my credit card statement and don't want to pay for these extras.

Is it not Apple you need to contact?
If so, then try 0208 2181000. It's the switchboard, so tell them you can't dial 0870 numbers from your line and they should put you through to the relevant department.0 -
At the present time there is no such thing as iTunes lifetime membership. You wanna double check what you have signed up for.0

This is the website I signed up to http://www.download-it-free.com/itunes/0

that site you just specified looks like its illegal for music downloading. This site is not an Apple website, although the word itunes in the adress may leave you to believe this.
the real itunes website is http://www.apple.com/itunes/0 -
I have had a similar experience with mp3-downloadhq. When you email you get no reply and there is no one to contact by phone. I am trying to get the money back through my credit card. I actually cancelled my credit card immediately after the transaction because it seemed strange when there was no number to contact and they didn't reply to my emails. :mad:0

Just ring up your bank and ask them to cancel the payment from you CC.0

If the article in the register http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/09/22/p2p_crisis/ is anything to go by P2P will soon be a dead duck anyway. Cancelling looks to be the best option.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I have contacted Tesco Visa and they say that I will have to fill in a form so they can get my money back.Seems a lot of messing about really but I am going to do it anyway.
I will have to be more careful next time.0
