ivil Enforcement Officers
I saw in the news the other day that local district councils did not have the authority to employ C.E.O'S as parking enforcers. I have had 2 tickets from one that has just started working in our small town, Nailsworth, Glos. 1 justified, 1 not. Would I stand a chance if I appealed against these on the aforementioned grounds?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I do not earn a lot of money and £70 max a time is more than I can afford. Thanks in advance.;)

May I suggest parking legally if you can't afford the fines?0

Well, I think you should pay the justified one, but appeal the unjustified one.

brilliant advice conor, I wish we could all be perfect like you obviously are. ever heard the saying 'to err is human'?0

IIRC CEO's employed after a certain date wern't allowed to issue tickets, any employed before that date could.0

Well done Einstein, I know he's got a point, but I came here looking for help that could have helped countless others who were both guilty and not guilty, not for people to state the inanely obvious.:p0
