Urgent Help Needed Please!
Hi All,
I am in desperate need of some advice. I need a loan of £8000. I have been ripped off and messed about by both Advantage and UCC. Advantage took my brokers fee and came up with nothing.
I have bad credit through (due to ex-partner not paying the mortgage without my knowledge). I do own my house but need an unsecured loan due to him still being on the mortgage.
Problem is, I've been messed around for so long now, that it's become absolutely desperate. I now need to find a loan company that accepts people with bad credit, but will pay out extremely quickly. I don't seem to be able to find a direct loan company as opposed to a broker. Everyone seems to want in the region of £50.00 out of me and are then getting me nowhere.
Can anyone give me some advice about this, or reccommend a company that might be able to help.
Thanks in advance
Amy

Stay away from anyone that wants a fee from you.
I have a terrible credit score and was accepted with welcome finance for a £2000 loan.Thinking it over...:o0 -

I have a terrible credit score and was accepted with Yes loans for a £2000 loan.

have you tried beneficial finance0

Thanks everyone.
Yes Loans were only able to offer me £2000 and that isn't enough.
I just tried calling Beneficial Finance. Unfortunately they aren't taking on new customers at the moment. You have to take out a store card with them to build up a history over a period of months and then they will look at giving out a loan.
I just can't afford to wait that long. I am seriously up to my neck in it and need to get something sorted in the next few days tops.
Thanks

Hi,
You may already know this but, as far as I know, brokers can't keep more than £5 of your broker fee if they are unable to get you a loan.
I stand to be corrcted though.
Good luck!0 -
I've heard stories that when you pay someon like Yes loan, and if by some miricle they can offer you a loan, but its less than the original value you wanted, then they dont have to give you your money back, also it can take up to 6 months, including long phone calls, and arsey call centre staff. Lots of hassle and its sooo not worth it.
I know its hard to hear but the thing is, if no one will give you a loan, (ie you've tried most places) you must stop trying now,and stop looking for these bogus "bad credit loan comapnies" and arrange something else as a backup plan.Thinking it over...:o0 -
Well I was lucky that I gave my credit card number to them and not my debit card for their "false" security check, they stole £59.50 off my Visa and my credit card company have refunded my card with the fee now.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? Hi Amy, what's the purpose of the loan, is it to consolidate existing debts? If so I would not recommend doing that, go over to the debt free board and see if you can get some advice0

I also think you need to address the reason for the loan rather than end up with some con artist screwing you.0

Thanks everyone.
The loan is needed because I borrowed some money from a friend to pay off the mortgage arrears that I mentioned earlier. The friend wasn't in a rush for the money at the time. Now she's found herself in a bad situation and needs the money back urgently. It's got to the stage where she's now unable to pay her mortgage and I feel horrendous about it. That's why I'm so desperate to get the loan so quickly. Any advice anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
I would never have borrowed the money if I wasn't about to lose my house. I've tried everything I can think of to be honest.
Thanks all.
