Updated Version of Firefox released.

For those that run Firefox there is a newer version available here. Version 1.07 is now the latest.

I've just downloaded 1.07 and noticed it is the US version, what difference is there?

I get a little red logo appear, by the 'working' dotted circle; when Firefox offer or think I should update. Shouldn't I just wait for them to tell me to update

english version now showing on that link - can't see the US one anywhere - even under the other languages link?

@Happy_saver - can do, it should show up pretty soon i guess but they are advising people update:

"Firefox 1.0.7 is a security and stability release. We strongly recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version."

The English version is actually the American version. Notice the lang=en-US on the link.

The English (British) 1.07 is now available.

If you click on "other systems & languages" there is English & English (british) listed for 1.07

I've just went to the link and it defaulted to "Firefox 1.0.7 for Windows, English (British) (4.7MB)".

I just clicked on the little arrow thing on my browser which is the automatic update & it told me there were no available updates. My version is 1.0.6

Just follow the link in the OP - or if you haven't deleted them click on the "Firefox Product Page" link in the "Firefox and Mozilla links" folder in your bookmarks
