Has anyone given consideration to the seemingly unfair situation which arises when we are late with a payment to a credit card company, that we get a
late payment charge and also a late payment mark on our credit file.
This could be construed as being punished twice for the same 'offence'.
Any thoughts on this ?0 -

I don't think it is the same thing. The credit mark isn't a method of punishing you. It is a contribution to the system credit providers use to assess the creditworthiness of customers.0
