Booking Hotels online - which is the cheapest?

Hi
There are so many websites to book hotels online... does anyone know which consistently offers the best price? I get so bored trawling through them all!
Expedia seems to be the most expensive.... I'm looking for the best price for the Olympia Hilton in London.
Many thanks in advance for any help!

I always try https://www.hotelscomparison.com - they'll trawl a number of sites for you.
https://www.kelkoo.co.uk also do a hotel price comparison.
I can't say I've found one site reguklarly the cheapest.0 -

I always start with the chain website, currently if you're looking for a weekend break there they've got some special offers, e.g. their 2 night autumn break @ £179/couple including dinner on the first night, on a B&B basis.

The Hilton Honors loyalty scheme is quite good too!
After that it's a case of going through the booking agent sites, I've not found any consistently better. We do try to use the cashback websites enroute for extra savings e.g Rpoints/GreasyPalm/Bighair.0 -
https://www.londontown.com they promise to give you 4 times the difference if you find the same deal cheaper elsewhere.
This site also quotes "Per Room" not per person remember to add VAT.
Recommend this site never found deals to beat it.
As Olympia is not really central also look at https://www.visitlondon.com
Just looked at the price for Hilton Olympia on Londontown. For 21st October it is a midrange hotel and a double room is advertised for £72+VAT = £84.600 -
Hi,
In my opinion https://www.priceline.co.uk will never be beaten. I travel to london two weeks every month for work, and always use priceline. I can consistently get 4* hotels for < £50 (normally £40 + priceline's charges). I have recently (for the past three visits) stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch for £49.
As it is an 'opaque' website, you don't see the hotel's name until it is booked, but I've never had any other hotels than The Thistle, Hilton or Holiday Inn.
Hope this helps, ian.something missing0 -
Please iarmst give me the lowdown on how to get these low prices. What is the proceedure to follow?0

I have found that to get the best deal on Hotels you have to do a good bit of trawling, there is no other way! 20 mins of trawling can save a lot of money.
If it is a weekend off peak you should be able to get good value for money.
https://www.lastminute.com occassionally have good deals on London hotels.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0

If you're wanting to stay in the hilton I always recommend using their website, I just booked a saturday night at the start of november for £60, not bad for a 4* hotel!!:santa2:0
